Jan Reitman

Jan Reitman is a founder, Board Member and Board Secretary for Virginia Health Options. He retired from the Defense Logistics Agency in 2007 where he served as Staff Director for Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health. In 2013 he was inducted into the Defense Logistics Agency Hall of Fame. In recent years he served as a volunteer health insurance counselor for the Medicare State Health Insurance Assistance Program and as a Certified Assistance Counselor under the Affordable Care Act.  He holds a BA in Mathematics from Lake Forest College and an MS Biology with Specialization in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University.
